These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Bootstrapper's Paradise (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website at bootstrappersparadise.com, our free email course and guides, our group coaching community, and our private coaching services (collectively, the “Services”), operated by Sean Boyce.

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and have the authority to enter into this agreement. Our Services are intended for entrepreneurs, founders, and individuals interested in building software businesses.

2. Description of Services

Free Resources

We provide a free 5-day email course, downloadable guides, blog content, and video/podcast episodes at no charge. These are provided for educational and informational purposes only.

Group Coaching Community ($99/month)

A recurring subscription granting access to our private community platform (hosted on Skool), group coaching calls, community discussions, and member resources. Subscriptions are billed monthly and continue until cancelled.

Private Coaching ($999/month)

One-on-one coaching sessions with Sean Boyce for personalized guidance on building and growing your SaaS business. This is a recurring monthly subscription unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts and Registration

Certain Services require you to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Keep your account credentials confidential and not share them with others
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Payment and Billing

Subscription Services

Group coaching and private coaching subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. By subscribing, you authorize us (through our payment processor) to charge your payment method each billing cycle until you cancel.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the service through the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for partial months of service. If you are unsatisfied with a paid service, contact us within 7 days of your initial purchase and we will evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis. We are not obligated to issue refunds outside of this window.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice. Continued use of the service after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Taxes

Prices do not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for any sales tax, VAT, or other taxes arising from your use of our Services.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:

  • Share your account credentials or allow others to access your subscription
  • Reproduce, redistribute, or resell any paid course materials, guides, or coaching content without our written permission
  • Post spam, harassing content, or off-topic promotional material in community spaces
  • Engage in behavior that is abusive, threatening, or discriminatory toward other members or our team
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from our website or services in an automated manner
  • Use our content or brand to misrepresent your affiliation with Bootstrapper's Paradise

Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your account and access to all Services without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content on bootstrappersparadise.com and within our paid services — including video courses, written guides, templates, graphics, podcast episodes, and coaching materials — is owned by Sean Boyce / Bootstrapper's Paradise and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our content for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.

Your Content

If you post content in our community, submit testimonials, or share feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and share that content in connection with our Services and marketing. You retain ownership of anything you create.

You represent that you own or have the rights to any content you submit, and that it does not infringe on third-party rights.

7. Educational Disclaimer

The information, courses, coaching, and content provided through Bootstrapper's Paradise are for educational and informational purposes only. Results will vary based on individual effort, experience, and market conditions.

We do not guarantee specific financial outcomes, business results, or success from using our Services. Any income figures, growth metrics, or success stories shared are not typical and should not be interpreted as promises or guarantees of results. Building a business involves risk, and you are solely responsible for your own business decisions.

Nothing in our Services constitutes legal, financial, or accounting advice. Consult qualified professionals for guidance specific to your situation.

8. Community Standards

Our group coaching community is a space for founders to learn, share, and support each other. All members must:

  • Treat others with respect and professionalism
  • Keep discussions relevant to entrepreneurship, SaaS, and related topics
  • Refrain from promoting competing services or spamming promotional links
  • Not share confidential information of other members outside the community

We moderate the community at our discretion and may remove content or members that violate these standards.

9. Third-Party Services

Our Services integrate with or link to third-party platforms including Kit (ConvertKit), Skool, Vercel, Stripe, Google, and others. Your use of these platforms is subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions or content of third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BOOTSTRAPPER'S PARADISE AND SEAN BOYCE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE OUR SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bootstrapper's Paradise and Sean Boyce from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, with reasonable notice. If termination is for cause (such as violation of these Terms), no refund will be provided. If termination is initiated by us without cause, we will refund any unused portion of a prepaid subscription.

You may stop using our Services and cancel your subscriptions at any time. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall first be submitted to informal negotiation by contacting us. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with proceedings conducted in Pennsylvania.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Bootstrapper's Paradise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised Terms on our website with an updated date and, for active subscribers, by email. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bootstrapper's Paradise regarding your use of the Services. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings, written or oral.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
